SB in Charleston

Hey y’all (as my southern friends would say),

I have been wandering the streets of Charleston, SC this week and I am completely obsessed with this town. I decided to come here for my spring break to visit my abroad roomies, Breeden and Caroline. Although the weather has been all over the place it doesn’t take away from the beauty of Charleston. Can I just say the overall aesthetic of this place is so pleasing…also I would like to point out that everyone here is so polite and friendly…naturally. When you walk down the street people smile at you and say hello just because, their hospitality skills scored a 10, and even the wait staff at restaurants go out of their way to make sure you’re experience was as lovely as can be. (Yes it’s definitely different scene from the friendly streets of Boston, sigh.)

So far I have been downtown Charleston, The Battery, Rainbow Row, Shem Creek, and College of Charleston Campus. (Big thank you to Breeden for being the best tour guide)

I will be headed to Georgetown and then to Columbia for St. Patrick’s Day…stay tuned!
