Hello Friends!

How was everyone’s weekend? I headed back to my hometown, Gloucester Massachusetts, for St. Peter’s Fiesta. You can definitely say it was a blast from the past seeing that I haven’t been active in hometown life since Thanksgiving. For those of you who don’t know…Fiesta is this big event our town puts on every year that lasts about five days and the islanders LIVE FOR IT. Maybe next year I’ll vlog live from Fiesta because unless you’re there, experiencing it, there’s no way to really explain it.

Anyways, I had a great weekend back home and got to relax by the pool and enjoy the fresh island air. My current favorite accessory…faux fur sandals. When I first saw the trend I wasn’t a fan and vowed to never own a pair. BUT…I caved. Yes I own a pair and I just never want to take them off. I was in Urban Outfitters on Newbury Street and I swear as soon as I walked in they were under the spotlight eyeing me. Curious and tempted, I walked over and very casually tried a pair on. *Match made in heaven* and I will never look back. Fad or not? I’m not sure, but I am enjoying them to the fullest. (even if I way late on this trend)
