Ugh, Monday…

Usually my least favorite day of the week like most, but I have been so anxious for this day to come!! I have been absent in blogging lately because I have been so freaking busy! Working full time on top of maintaining my blog can sometimes make it very hard to find the time to write as well as keeping up with social media and continuously create content. I do tend to put my social media first because that’s where I get the most traffic that eventually leads here! (for those small percentage of folks who have the patience to sit and read something that takes longer than 60 seconds, and bless those of you who do!)

So a little update, a lot of exciting things have been happening for Roses ‘n Mimosas! I was accepted into Reward Style (Like to Know It) and my posts will now be shop-able through the Like to Know It app! I’ve been wanting to be a part of this community for a very long time and am very happy it has finally happened! I also was featured on Style Caster, you can view the article here, and am so grateful for the recognition! Roses ‘n Mimosas is getting a makeover and I am transferring my site over from WordPress.com to WordPress.org! I have grown a lot as a person and a blogger and I believe that my site needs to grow with me!

Lastly, and the whole reasoning for this post…I did something super cool that I’ve been wanting to do for a very long time. I directed and styled myself in a Look Book video for Calypso St. Barth! I have always loved videography and particularly music videos and the thought and creativity that goes behind them. Making videos of my own has been a little secret dream for a long time. The video is posted on my NEW YouTube Channel and you can find it HERE I had so much fun playing dress up and shooting in my home town and seeing a vision come to life! I truly have a new level of admiration for videographers and models, cause this ain’t easy people!!  I am so excited to start this new journey and share more than photos with you guys and I hope you love watching just as much as I loved creating this for you!
